Itinerary
Arrive in Guwahati and begin your scenic drive to Shillong through rolling hills and forested roads. En route, enjoy fresh mountain air and changing landscapes as you enter Meghalaya. After check-in, explore Shillong at leisure with short walks, local cafés, or viewpoints. The evening is kept relaxed to help you settle into the hill climate.
Drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth, known for its dramatic cliffs and waterfalls. Visit famous spots like Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and scenic viewpoints overlooking deep valleys. The day focuses on Meghalaya’s raw natural beauty, misty landscapes, and wide open views.
Start early for the trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat village. This trek takes you through forest paths, stone steps, and river crossings to reach one of Meghalaya’s most unique natural wonders. After spending time at the bridge and nearby pools, begin the return trek and rest in Cherrapunji.
Drive towards Dawki, home to the famous Umngot River. Set up riverside camping near the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by hills and silence. Spend the evening enjoying the calm environment, riverside views, and a peaceful night under the stars.

- Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delays may be removed from the event without prior warning. No refund will be issued, and the client must arrange their own return transport. Desh Destinations does not hold the responsibility for terminated clients.
- Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

- Booking amounts are non-refundable for cancellations.
- 30 Days Prior to Departure: 50% of the tour fee will be refunded.
- 0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- Late Arrival: No refund or rescheduling will be available
- Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.
- If the trip gets extended because of weather or other unforeseen reasons, an additional fee of ₹2000 per day will need to be paid in cash to the Trip Leader at that time.
