Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Desh Destinations, we understand that travel plans may change. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy ensures transparency and fairness while considering commitments made with our service providers.
Cancellation by Traveler
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through our support team.
- Refunds will be processed as per the following timeline (unless otherwise mentioned in the package):
- 30 days or more before departure – Full refund (after deducting booking charges/service fees).
- 15–29 days before departure – Partial refund (up to 50% of the package cost).
- Less than 15 days before departure – No refund.
No-show or early departure – No refund.
Non-Refundable Bookings
- Certain services like flight tickets, train tickets, permits, or special promotional offers may be non-refundable.
- Such conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellation by Desh Destinations
- In rare cases where we must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, low group size, government restrictions, etc.), you will receive:
- A 100% refund, OR
- The option to transfer the booking to another trip/date without extra charges.
Modifications Instead of Cancellation
- Travelers may request a change in travel dates, destination, or itinerary instead of cancellation.
- Such modifications are subject to availability and additional costs (if applicable).
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days of receiving a valid cancellation request.
- Refunds will be credited through the same payment method used during booking.
- Transaction/processing fees charged by banks or gateways are non-refundable.
Force Majeure Events
No refunds will be applicable in case of cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural calamities, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or travel restrictions.
